Badminton Ireland Primary and Secondary Schools Programmes

Badminton Ireland is committed to providing all young people with the opportunity to take part in badminton and to helping schools provide their students with the opportunity to participate.

Did you know that badminton is one of the most popular sports in Ireland?  It's a sport that you can play throughout your life, both socially and competitively and it's also one of the few sports with equal participation of both sexes. Some Schools leagues and competitions start early in September so make sure your entries are in to the Local organisers on time!

The All Ireland Secondary Schools Badminton Finals day is held every March/April and has more than 180 children taking part in what is one of the most exciting junior sporting events in the calendar. This is the culmination of a full season of competitions, blitzes and leagues throughout the counties and provinces with all winners (and some runners-up) qualifying for the Finals Day! For provincial and local organisers contacts please see Schools Flyer below or e-mail CLOAKING
