Eight irish players travelled to the Cheltenham u17 Gold event last weekend which was played at the Cheltenham Leisure Centre, England:-

Alannah Stephenson, Keady Smith, Rachael Darragh, Sara Boyle, Ryan Stewart, Jonathan Harron, Nicholas Murphy and Niall Reynolds

In the Gold Star Girls Singles Alannah Stephenson won the Bronze Medal and in the Gold Girls Singles Rachael Darragh won the Silver Medal

Alannah and Ryan Stewart also won a Bronze Medal in the Mixed Doubles

All players played in the 3 disciplines with some terrific performances throughout the day.

Alannah and Keady Smith had some excellent doubles matches along with Rachael and Sarah Boyle

In the Boys Doubles Niall Reynolds & Nicholas Murphy had a epic 3 set match but were pipped in the 3^rd set 22-20. 

Jonathan Harron & Ryan Stewart were in good form throughout the day with some close games.

All the players competed extremely well in this prestigious event and great credit to them for their performances
