It was an early start in Lisburn yesterday for the Irish Senior Vets Championships 2012. There was great competition in all matches with  a total of 77 being played.  Included in the the usual familiar faces were some new debutants, John & Kevin Noble (Dublin) and Lisburn's very own Trevor Woods.

There was a terrifice atmosphere throughout the day and great thanks must go to William Martin and Colin McClements on Match Control for their excellent work

Also thanks to Dave Mullan who was Referee for the event.

Breda Connolly, BI President was in attendance and presented all winners and r/up players with their Irish 2012 medals.

Lastly, thanks to all the competitors; some who travelled long distances for attending the event and making it, as usual, a great success.
