On Friday 9^th October the group met at 9am at Dublin Airport to fly to Copenhagen for this event.

U19  Owen Marron and Sinead Chambers.  Tony Stephenson is resident in Copenhagen so would meet up with us there.

U17 Ruaraidh Sim, Jonathan Dolan, Joshua Magee and Kirsty Walker.

Also travelling were Coach Daniel Magee and Manager Cheryl Evans.

We held a team practice at 6pm on Friday evening which was attended by Jim Laugesen, High Performance Coach.

This event always attracts the best international players thereby making the competition more intense.  All players competed well in their respective age groups and gave them the opportunity to assess themselves against top opposition.

On Sunday we travelled to the Gentofte Badminton Club to watch some of the U19 semi finals before returning to Dublin in the afternoon.

This event is certainly one to keep in mind for next year’s calendar for the two respective age groups.
