Laois championships were very successful this year and the entries were up on last year. Well done to the committee for all their hard work.

Laois sports Partnership have funded a further six primary schools for the Buntus Badminton programme bringing the total to twenty three schools completed in the county now. A big thank you to Caroline and Roisin in the LSP office for all their help.

Kildare Sports Partnership has kindly funded Buntus Badminton for ten primary schools in the County. Three schools have been completed with a total of twenty three Teachers attending the training days and well done to them for such a large turn out and we wish them well with the Buntus programme.

I would like to wish all the organisers and competitors in the Kilcullen open tournament and the South West Leinster championships enjoyment and success over the Christmas and New Year.

Offaly Sports Partnership will resume with the Buntus programme in the New Year.
