Team Leinster had a very successful Ireland Games, bringing home 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, 5 Fourth ribbons and 4 Fifth ribbons, between 7 Athletes who participated in a total of 19 events.

Niall McVeigh successfully defended his English 4 Nations Disability Championships Men’s singles title at the weekend in Manchester. After coming through his group matches Niall had a three set battle with England’s Krysten Coombs in the semi finals and after losing a tight first set 20/21 recovered convincingly to win the next two sets 21/5 21/12.

On 24th March, Niall travelled to Vitoria North Spain to train at the Bakh Badminton Club in preparation for the French International, Niall was training with the clubs able body and disability players for two to three hours a day under the supervision of the Bakh clubs top coaches.
