Scott took to the court to play Lin Dan (China), the No 1 seed, on Thursday 3rd March. Scott had a slow start and Lin Dan won the first set 21-11.  Scott fought hard in the second set to go in at the break 11-9 up, but Lin Dan won the set 21-18.  A credible performance against the No 1 seed and Olympic Champion.

Day 1

Scott Evans is our solo competitor in this event where his first round match was against Kristian Midtgaard (Denmark).  Scott comfortably took the first set 21-13.  Scott then went on to seal the match when Midtgaard retired with Scott leading 19-11 in the second set.
