| Nestlé's 2010 GET SET GO FREE promotion |
|
The Nestle GET SET GO FREE promotion aims at getting families, children and people of all ages involved in sports and activities. Whether they've always wanted to try but have never got around to it, or are newly inspired to try such a fantastic sport, the 'Get Set Go Free' promotion hopes to get more people participating. Nestle are hoping that Badminton clubs / centres would like to be added as participating venues - getting more people involved in activities and also providing valuable (and free!) marketing for Badminton Clubs or venues. The promotion starts on the 1st of June lasting one year, and all Nestle need clubs to do is offer a free taster session (at your convenience - customers will have to prebook, one free session per person, subject to availability). Nestle then hope your taster session customers will turn into lifelong members! Getting involved is very simple: you need only to fill out the brief agreement form, which can be done on the computer or on paper, and then email, post or fax it back to Parallel Promotions. If clubs want to go ahead, contact Parnell Promotions on 00 44 870 8500098, or email at CLOAKING This year the promotion has over 4000 venues taking part compared to only 1500 last year and 50 million products will be on sale this summer with the Get Set Go Free Promotion advertised on them! It's one of the largest on-pack promotions in the UK, Northern Ireland and ROI communicated on packs of Nestlé cereals, confectionery, and beverages. Brands participating in the promotion include Cheerios, Shreddies, Milky Bar, Smarties, Nesquik and many others. Now in it’s fifth year, the 2010-2011 activities have been refreshed in order to create an even bigger consumer impact. In short, a bigger and better promotion entitled Get Set Go Free. Alongside being bigger and better, the main difference in this year’s campaign is that Nestlé consumers who want to take up the offer will have to register and print their vouchers off online. This mechanism will limit the redemptions and abuse of the offer. Also, the sessions must be prebooked as stated in the consumer Ts & Cs as per the paragraph below (please see attached for full details): To qualify, the voucher holder must book their chosen sports activity in advance, stating that they hold a Nestlé Get Set Go Free voucher and the corresponding cut out token(s) from pack / wrapper(s). Voucher holders must hand their voucher and corresponding proofs of purchase into reception upon arrival at the venue in order to ensure the free activity is honoured. Failure to do so will result in the activity being charged at the full rate. This allows for the club to control when and which free sessions are taken, and also offers the opportunity for clubs to add the details of potential new members to their database. |
